Nashville Man Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash on Highway 100
This afternoon’s single-vehicle crash on Highway 100 at Old Hickory Boulevard claimed the life of a 69-year-old Nashville man.
Robert Gerald was driving his 2015 GMC Terrain west on Highway 100 at 12:10 p.m. when, for an unknown reason, the SUV traveled over the double yellow lines and off the roadway where it collided head-on with a tree. Gerald was wearing a seatbelt. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. There were no indications of impairment at the scene.
