Procession and Ceremony Planned for Friday Morning in Remembrance of the 9-11 Terrorist Attacks
In remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Nashville’s first responders and city officials will lead a procession Friday morning at 8 a.m. that will travel on Broadway from 7th to 3rd Avenues, turn onto 3rd Avenue South, and continue to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center where a ceremony will be held beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Broadway from Rosa L. Parks Boulevard to 2nd Avenue will be closed from 7:45 a.m. until approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday. Commerce Street from 7th to 3rd Avenues, and Demonbreun Street from 7th to 3rd Avenues, will also be closed during the procession.
